  1. How long have you been in the IT staffing and software development business? Prosoft was founded in 1998 and the company has been growing ever since. Prosoft is #16 in Kentucky Top Companies and #2675 on the 2015 Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies in the United States.
  2. Who founded Prosoft? The founder and current president of the company, David Easterling, founded Prosoft after several years of experience working as a Regional Director for Everest Technologies, and the Director of Sales with Zellerbach in Virginia. David graduated from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and he is a Certified Scrum Master and an active member of the Scrum and Agile User Group.
  3. Where is Prosoft located? Our U.S. headquarters are located in Louisville, Kentucky, at 10350 Ormsby Park Place, Suite 103. We also have a convenient nearshore office location for our IT outsourcing services in San Jose, Costa Rica.

  2. What type of employee screening do you conduct? We have a very thorough employee screening that focuses on technical skills, business acumen, and overall fit for the job. We conduct interviews, contact references, and complete detailed assessments.
  3. What technical skills do your employees specialize in? Our employees specialize in a full range of programming languages including: Microsoft .Net, Asp.Net, Javascript, PHP, LINQ, Visual Studio, C++/C#, MySQL, Oracle, OO Development, Microsoft SQL Server, agile development and scrum.

  5. What is the difference between IT outsourcing and IT staffing? IT staffing and IT outsourcing are both services Prosoft provides. IT staffing includes employees who work on a contract basis, temp-to-hire and direct hire. Typically these employees work on-site at a company’s office location. In contrast, the software development work completed through IT outsourcing is typically completed off-site. Although the software developers completing the IT outsourcing work may still participate in regular meetings, ongoing communication, and occasional face-to-face meetings, depending on the project and the client needs.

  6. Do I have to pay a fee to Prosoft for recruiting services? No, you do not have to pay a fee for our recruiting services.
